This monument sits on the corner of 3rd and Evergreen and it pays tribute to the Bryan County peanut growers and processors. It was dedicated on November 15, 1974, and is still a popular place for visitors to stop and snap a photo. There is also a time capsule buried a few feet in front of the peanut, that will be opened in June of 2023.
